GEAR I WORK WITH
I use PureDrive preamps both live and in the studio to tame the aggressive transients that come with close-miking drums, vocals, and other punchy sources.
These ultra-fast transients—often beyond what the ear can perceive—can trip up compressors and choke your sound. PureDrive’s variable saturation smooths them out naturally, preserving the energy and character of the performance without flattening the dynamics.
From there, the rest of the studio’s gear and software is yours to shape the sound into the version you’ve been hearing in your head since day one.
